Claire McVinnie

Claire McVinnie is an artist based in the creative hub of North East fife in Scotland. She specialises in an array of laser cutting and printmaking techniques including screenprinting, etching and collagraph, which she applies to her collections of limited edition prints and design objects. Claire divides her time between teaching and making in her Fife studio and we think her work is delightful. We love the craft element in her clocks, which she creates using cutting-edge techniques so she is able to produce perfected final objects. We also think her body of print work is wonderful. It is handprinted onto deckled edge paper, which makes the whole piece attractive to look at and we recommend you 'float' the print when framing to ensure the lovely ragged paper edge is visible.
