Quintessentially British

With the passing of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the upcoming London 2012 Olympics to look forward to, there's no better time to celebrate all things British. We’ve found three British cushion designers who specialise in doing just that. J Rosenthal & Son, founded in 1911, is based in Manchester. It uses choice materials to create its cushions that have a quirky British vintage look. Becky Broome is a small but very busy company, headed by Becky herself. She designs her cushions in her Chesire studio and hand-prints them in Britain. Mr Wingate offers a cool urban take on the Brit-themed cushion. Sam Wingate launched his company in 2006, and Mr Wingate offers limited edition, hand printed designs, which include his quirky homewares, each created in Sam’s studio in East London.
