Aux Anysetiers du Roy was first a restaurant near Notre-Dame, Paris. Frequented by many celebrities in the 60s, such as Salvador Dali and Brigitte Bardot, the restaurant offered each customer a small gift after dinner: the ‘Herbes de Provence’ crock, containing a special blend. The success of these crocks led to the Aux Anysetiers du Roy line of speciality foods, presented in little stoneware pots. They’re made in a small village, south of Lyon, and contain original blends and recipes of herbs and spices, tea, honey, flavoured sugars or chocolate fondue. The pots, tumblers or shakers are made and filled by hand, making each one an original piece of craftsmanship. Once finished, the pots are great for storage too.
