Need fabric inspiration? Harlequin’s latest designs in shimmering satins and flamboyant damasks will get you planning your room scheme with delight. Check out Cassini, Lavera and Orietta – no they’re not mythical creatures, but the new curtain and upholstery fabric ranges from Harlequin, and they’re as enchantingly beautiful as they sound.

Stylishly understated, the Cassini range features sumptuous embroidered scrolls and abstract patterns on a sleek, shimmering satin. You can choose from a palette of oyster, pearl, graphite, silver, lavender, mocha, lime, sky and teal. ‘We love the classic elegance of these three collections: they epitomize timeless style, but at the same time incorporate very on-trend embroidered motifs,’ says Claire Vallis, design director at Harlequin.

Lavera is equally charming and features a heavily embroidered chain-stitch leaf trail, accompanied by a plain. Choose from oyster, pearl, graphite, silver, lavender, mocha, lime, sky and teal colourways – we love the mix of lime and lavender as shown above.

Choose from gentle neutrals to dramatic shades of glossy berry, charcoal and teal in Orietta – a flamboyant damask motif embellished with rich chenille stitchery.
