You might be excited by the imminent launch of the latest Windows Phone 7, but doesn’t every home need one of these classic ScandiPhones too? Its design is based on the upright phone that was introduced in Europe in the mid 1950s. Smaller and lighter than its peers, the unusual piece was, and still is, the perfect example of form and function. The push button version was introduced in 1967 and in 1973 it was chosen to be part of New York’s Museum of Modern Art Collection, in recognition of its significance as a piece of good design in the 20th Century.
