There’s Royal Wedding memorabilia and there’s Royal Wedding tat. Both have scales of one to dreadful and pleasingly Jan Constantine’s new Royal Wedding cushions are at the top end of memorabilia and really rather wonderful. The design guru, who likes to share the love with her ‘heirlooms of the future’, has just announced a gorgeous Regal Collection of Royal Wedding cushions, with the designs based upon her best-selling Tattoo Heart cushion. The Royal Wedding cushions are embellished with the names of William and Catherine in antique gold across the heart and adorned with the crown of Prince William. It’s the perfect cushion to plump up, sit back and watch Kate (aka Catherine) and Prince William’s Royal Wedding, unless of course you’re a Royal Wedding Refusenik (as The Observer described yesterday) and you’re planning a little trip outta town…

And while we’re on the subject of Royal Wedding memorabilia, this Thanks For The Free Day Off plate is a corker, from a series of plates created by contemporary design store KK Outlet, based in east London’s Hoxton.
