Ever since your parents kept their unused wedding china in one, sideboards have been seen as outdated and old fashioned. But there has been a recent shift in storage style (now there are two words you don’t often see together). Popping up on the high street, and ranging from sleek and chic to French and fabulous, they’re the logical extension of the maximalist trend, as something not only to store all your objects in, but on too. Yes, sideboards are back. You heard it here first.

    That red wall is something I should do in my house too, very impressive interior designing. Plus the Marks and Spencer sideboard is very elegant and looks durable.
