Come dine with me

For the last few years, it hasn’t just been the miniature bottles of shampoo we’ve been stealing from townhouse hotels, but a host of interiors styling tips, too. Leather club chairs, anglepoise lighting and oak panelling were all big hits after they became key pieces at places such as Dean Street Townhouse and the Boundary Rooms. But this year, with several big name restaurant launches having foodies flocking, we’ve realised they’re as much as about their design credentials as they are about the dishes. So make sure you leave your waiters hefty tips, as you’ll surely be taking some away with you.
