Cabinet of Curiosities
If you love scouring antique fairs and markets for beautiful objet d’art and unique decorative accessories then you might just love Ben Pentreath’s little shop in Rugby Street, London, which is crammed with earthly delights. From now until Saturday November 5 2011, the Ben Pentreath shop metamorphoses into its annual Cabinet of Curiosities, where the entire shop is crammed with curious collections, as chosen by Ben Pentreath and artist Bridie Hall. At this year’s Cabinet of Curiosities show Birdie Hall launches her first range of handcrafted interior objects, which includes intaglio boxes, decorative decoupage and country house scented candles.
