Stuck for ideas on what to buy your nearest and dearest this Christmas? I’ve managed to do my Christmas shopping online** in the space of ten minutes this morning (phew) and thought it might be handy to share my buys. Here’s what I’ve chosen…
**Message to my family and friends…I don’t want to spoil the surprise, so please do look away now please.
At number one…a gift for her
You can’t go wrong with Orla Kiely and this Tall Tote in Orla Kiely’s iconic stem print design is a piece to covet. It includes an adjustable and detachable long strap and internal padded pocket for a 15inch MacBook Pro. Great for on the go, I think it’s the perfect gift for mums, girlfriends and aunties too.
At number two…something for dad
Who doesn’t love the Cornish coast? This ‘Cornish Afternoon’ oil on canvas by Katty McMurray is beautifully framed and ready to hang. It brings back treasured memories of summer holidays on the Cornish coast when I was a growing up. It makes a lovely, unique gift.
With an alarm, radio, clock, built-in light and snooze and automatic summer and winter time changes, this Jacob Jensen Radio Controlled Alarm Clock is a win-win choice.
At number four…something for the boyfriend
This wrist watch designed by Emporio Armani can do no wrong. Ice-cool style.
At number five…a gift for a best friend
This violet London candle from Parks Candles makes for a stylish pressie. It has a burn time of 80 hours and when burnt gives off a lavender scent blended with gentle white flower notes of lilac, honeysuckle and jasmine. Perfect.
The Back to Sleep Slumber Bear from Prince Lionheart will play gentle sounds to send little boys and girls to sleep. I could actually do with one of these myself after a long day in front of the computer.
At number seven…a gift for a sister in law
This Heyland and Whittle Christmas goody bag includes a Winter Spice Reed Diffuser and a gorgeous Oatmeal and Spice soap, presented in a festive little hatbox. Ideal.
At number eight….a gift for a young neice
The Science Museum Solar System Mobile Making Kit from Great Gizmos lets you make and hang your own 42cm x 42cm glow Solar System mobile. It’s a fun gift idea for curious and creative young girls and boys.
Practical and fun, this darling Alessi Mr & Mrs Chin salt and pepper set is designed by Stefano Giovannoni.
At number ten…[eherm *cough cough*] something for myself!
Distressed Leather Messenger Bag from Culinary Concepts = just what I always wanted.
