Here at ACHICA Living, we love having a nose round gorgeous places, far and away. This week, Taschen’s latest homes book Interiors Now! 2 caught our eye. It has certainly got us rethinking the décor in our living rooms, again. There’s just too many styles to capture and not enough time. Here’s a sneaky peak of the Taschen tome – it’s definitely not a title that’s destined to be left unopened gathering dust on the coffee table…
The forward of Interiors Now! 2 is written by Ian Philips, editor-at-large of the German edition of Architectural Digest, and a regular contributor to Interior Design and the American edition of Elle Décor. Each page of the luxurious book is filled with interesting and inspiring interiors, including homes, ‘hideaways’ and studios. There’s styles to suit all tastes including flea-market romance, neo-baroque, traditional and minimalist chic…
[Above photo by Ricardo Labougle ] A Scandinavian sofa and armchair are placed on an Emilio Pucci rug in Juan Gatti’s apartment in Madrid, Puerta de Alcalá, Spain. An unmistakable design classic, a Poul Henningsen Artichoke lamp hangs above the dining table.

[Above photo by Hiepler & Brunier] Susanne and Matteo Thun’s beautiful house on Capri, Campania, Italy, features a wall in the main kitchen that is covered with a playful patchwork of tiles from L‘Antica Ceramica. The vintage chandelier is Venetian, and features one of next season’s hottest colours – aqua. Oh to be in Italy in the summer right now – I can feel the dreamy heat radiating from the picture. . .
