Desert Island Design


Javier Mariscal has been described as “one of the world’s most innovative and original designers”. He works across multiple disciplines and is responsible for everything from the Gran Hotel Domine Bilbao to Cobi, the Barcelona Olympics mascot. He was also behind animated film Chico and Rita (above). Inspired by Radio 4, ACHICA Living asked design guru Javier Mariscal: if you were stuck on a desert island, which three designed items could you not live without?
