Despite Pantone’s promises that Tangerine Tango (Pantone 17-1463 for the colour geeks amongst you) is the colour for 2012 – yellow was still everywhere at the design trade shows at the start of this year and continues to shine on.
Yellow is one of those colours that just makes you smile. It’s the colour of daffodils, the colour of sunshine and, some say, the colour of happiness.
You can use it in the garden to bring warmth and a sense of optimism for the year ahead.
It’s claimed that yellow can aid creative thinking, stimulate the mind and the nervous system, and encourage communication, so why not add some to your working space?
