Hot prize: Win two tickets to dine at The Cube by Electrolux

Do you love a bit of high-tech architecture juxtaposed with some classic design? Maybe? Well how about eating great food and drink? Of course you do! And we do too. So it's an understatement to say how excited we were to dine at hot pop-up restaurant The Cube by Electrolux last week. We couldn’t tell you all about it without offering ACHICA Living readers the chance to win tickets for two to dine there, with a meal cooked by a top Michelin-starred chef. The two golden tickets are worth £430 and the prize includes champagne and canapés on arrival, and a minimum of five courses with wine to match. Woah! Nice. The Cube is currently perched on the top of London’s Royal Festival Hall and to passers by looking up from the Southbank it might look a little like Willy Wonka’s glass elevator (but bigger and without Wonka, Charlie and Grandad inside). But the glass space seats 18 for lunch and dinner and commands stunning views over London’s Southbank (it's perfect for the Instagram fans among us). From now until the end of September, Michelin-starred chefs such as Sat Bains, Claude Bosi, Jonray Sanchez and Daniel Clifford will be creating delicious menus for lucky diners seven days a week. Last week ACHICA Living had the pleasure of experiencing lunch at The Cube and ate from a delicious menu created by Michelin-starred chef Daniel Clifford...

We ate…

'Crispy hen’s eggs, griddled asparagus and asparagus veloute'. Followed by 'Sauteed scallop, apple, truffle and celeriac'. And then 'Roast quail, summer peas, sautéed girolles and wild garlic oil'. Amazing.

And if that wasn't enough, we then had the delicious 'Slow roast rump of lamp, courgette, tomatoe, basil and Olde York cheese'. There was also a vegetarian version...

Then came the 'Caramelised pineapple, pineapple sorbet and pineapple candy floss' for dessert. Yes, candy floss, but certainly NOT your funfair variety. With wine to match, the food was out of this world...
