As a designer I spend time researching and finding inspiration from blogs to websites, books and films. So when ACHICA Living asked me to do a guest blog I was delighted - a source of wonderful things and something new to see. Here are a few of my favourite things…
Favourite restaurant…The Sportsman in Seasalter in Whistable, Kent (below). It has the most fantastic food, in a relatively secret location. Wonderfully low key and absolutely delicious.
Favourite city…New York. It has great food and great summers. I worked here for a summer many moons ago. I love the flea markets, getting up early doors with a ‘cwaffee’.
Favourite design…At the moment my favourite shape is the Double Dora. It’s so practical and fits so much in. There’s also a gap in the centre to fit a compact mirror.
Favourite fabric…Right now the fig daisy repeat multi blue is my favourite print in the collection. It’s new for this season and I’ve always been a blues fan.
Favourite way to spend the weekend…On the beach or in the countryside with copious amounts of tea and magazines, birds tweeting in the background and enjoying the peace and quiet with my fiancé.

Favourite hobby…Cooking! Which I don’t get to do nearly enough off and I can’t wait to have some time off to spend cooking. My favourite dish to make at the moment is Thai seafood curry and I also love to bake scones...delicious.
