Olympic Games - Carrier Disruption
As London will be hosting the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer, a number of heightened security measures are being implemented by local authorities in many of the areas surrounding the Games’ venues. If you are located in a post code that will be affected by these security measures, you may experience a delay in the speed at which you receive your ACHICA orders between 20th July and 12th September.
On average we anticipate that orders will take 2 to 3 days longer to reach you than they would usually. While our parcel carriers will be making surcharges during the Games, ACHICA will not be passing any of these surcharges on to our members, so the price you pay for delivery will remain the same.
A list of affected post codes is available below. Should you wish to temporarily have orders delivered to a non-affected post code, such as your place of work, you can add more addresses to your Address Book, or during the checkout process.
We anticipate that delivery services will have returned to normal no later than 12th September.
