A highly sculptural, highly tactile, fun and enormously inventive creation from the Danish company, this is the Normann Copenhagen Strainer. The contemporary ridged shape, although aesthetically pleasing, has come about purely by mechanical design, for it is this series of steps that allow the colander to collapse down to under 2cm in height. Space, or lack of it, is often an issue in modern living, so we go out of our way to bring articles such as this fantastic folding colander to your attention. Just use it, fold it, and then store it easily in a drawer (although you may be tempted to keep it on display, such is the pleasing design!) Designed by Boje Estermann for Normann Copenhagen, the Strainer is made from a food-safe & durable rubber that retains its shape and rigidity even when filled with hot & heavy items.
