A striking and contemporary high-quality world wall map, this is an alternative and thought-provoking vision of our planet, using an equal-area projection to represent countries in their correct proportional size (something which a lot of maps don't do). Colour is graded through continents and countries, to remove the abrupt borderlines of more traditional designs. The map is printed using a lithographic printing process onto a coated, silk-finish paper. The print is finished with a sealer, to protect the inks. Scale: 1:20,000,000 (approx), Paper dimensions: 1015 x 575mm. The map is encapsulated in plastic and mounted onto flexible sheet metal, to give a safe, durable, write-on/wipe-off surface to which magnets will cling. It is easily fixed to the wall using magnetic strips (supplied) that run along the top and bottom of the map. The strips have an adhesive side that sticks to the wall.
