Brass or metal face plates are yet another attractive feature of Chinese furniture with the circular shape representing 'eternity'. Their simplicity of form and classical proportions mean these beautiful and original pieces can live in harmony in modern surroundings, perhaps because the sheer artistry of classic Chinese furniture lends itself to the freer, less rigid, spirit of living today. Crafted out of elm with a light aqua blue finish.
