Chrysanthemum in Red is a wonderful sculpture of contemporary surrealist botanical glass. Made using both glass blowing and flame – working, there are 250 components in this exquisite collectable. Chrysanthemum in Red was initially generated for London Glassblowing’s valentine’s exhibition ‘Heaven Sent’ in 2010. The inspiration for the piece was ‘The Victorian Language of Flowers’. Chrysanthemum means ‘I love’.
