Product Information
The statue of Boudicca (Boadicea) Queen of the Iceni, driving a chariot by Thomas Thornycroft and positioned at the end of the Victoria Embankment in 1902. In the background is the clock tower of the Houses of Parliament which houses the clock and 13-ton bell known as Big Ben. The clock and bell is named after Sir Benjamin Hall, who was Commissioner of Works at the time of their installation in 1859. 16th November 1938. A hand-selected image from the official Daily Mirror picture archive established in 1904 and still recording society's most poignant moments. Curated exclusively for ACHICA, this is a unique opportunity for you to own a remarkable 'snapshot' in time of London through the years. Created from the original studio archive, this fine art print employs a technique utilising millions of droplets of chromatic pigment ink on acid-free 300gsm fine art paper to portray every nuance and detail of the original. Comes framed in a smart black frame and an acid-free mount.
