Based on the delightfully intricate 13th century murals found in temples of Bagan of Myanmar depicting Erawan the three headed elephant a popular figure in Buddhist artwork. Originally, commissioned by the United Nations in 1973 to provide an historical record of the ancient murals this is a beautiful reproduction of the original. Crafted using traditional methods with sand from the Ayeyarwady river this unique item is a must have for any enlightened modern interior. Acrylic paint is used to create each intricate design.
