Based on the delightfully intricate 13th century murals found in temples of Bagan of Myanmar depicting scenes from the Jataka or 'Life of Buddha'. Originally, commissioned by the United Nations in 1973 to provide an historical record of the ancient murals this is a beautiful reproduction of the original. Crafted using traditional methods with sand from the Ayeyarwady river this unique item is a must have for any enlightened modern interior. Acrylic paint is used to create each intricate design. Each painting uniquely hand painted for authenticity and beauty. Hand Made in Burma/Myanmar
