Antiqued amphora vase exhibiting the floral and geometric designs synonymous with Moroccan ceramics. This highly decorative style was greatly influenced by the Moorish and Spanish culture and today the main centre for ceramics are Safi, which produces pottery inlaid with metal and Fez, which produces the very distinctive blue and white fassi pottery. With its grand stature and complex hand-painted pattern, this amphora is a statement piece for any space. Collectables of this quality are not readily available and we are delighted to be able to present such a wonderful artisan object on the ACHICA fine art platform.
