Wool is an exceptional natural fibre; it helps to control moisture management and therefore your temperature, giving you a much more comfortable night's sleep. Memory foam mattresses for example, can generate a lot of heat - this wool mattress protector works as a buffer taking away the moisture, leaving you cooler and more comfortable throughout the night. This substantial, quilted mattress protector is filled with a 250 gsm layer of carded wool, for added comfort and insulation from below. It is the ideal 'humidity controller', keeping you warm in winter and yet cool in the summer. Wool is naturally hypoallergenic, non conducive to dust mites and thereby great for those who suffer from asthma and allergies. A quilted stitch pattern helps hold the wool layer firmly in place, for even distribution and a lovely drape. Made from British Wool.
