This little fluttering heart tableau would make a lovely gift or a unique work of art for lovers of things quirky. Using stoneware clay, the artist has formed a heart, attached decorated wings and placed it inside a custom made arched frame - captured but still beating!

She has incised decoration around the inside of the arch, glazed it a delicate sky blue and impressed a floral stamp in the bottom corner. The heart has been glazed rich glossy red and areas of the piece have been highlighted with gold coloured metal leaf. The underside of the piece has also been gold leafed to ensure that it looks pretty when wall mounted.

This piece can stand with a group of other ornaments or can be hung on a wall using the wire hanger. Should you wish to remove this you can easily unwind the spirals on the front of the piece and pull the wire out.
