From a series of tiny stoneware bowls, handmade in the artists Somerset studio. They are the little brothers of the larger Magpie nest bowls which have speckled blue eggs painted in the bottom.

These bowls have been hand painted with under glaze colours to show a delicate little fluttering red heart, the perfect spot to hover over rings which can nestle in the bottom of the glazed interior. The rim has been given a distressed gold leafing which contrasts beautifully with the black clay. The outside of the bowl has the impression of a very fine branch sprig pressed into it, and the maker's mark.

Perfect as a ring bearer's bowl, to keep small shiny trinkets, a very precious Valentine gift or just to display as a little art form in its own right!

Bowl measures approx. 60 mm across at widest part of diameter.
