This Ionising smoke alarm from Jacob Jensen 'senses' and reacts to smoke and heat. It cannot be mounted unless a battery is installed and the sizes of the +/- polarities in the compartment are different, making it impossible to wrongly install the battery. There is a low battery signal warning, detection cycle of once/twice per minute and a data field of 0°C to +40°C. The alarm will sound as long as there is smoke in the detector, and it will automatically revert to standby mode when the smoke is gone. For optimal smoke detection it must be placed in the centre of the room on the ceiling. Speedy and safe, this smoke alarm is perfect for any household.
