Word range collection Salt Pig. Scots and northern Brits used to use the word 'pig' to refer to a pot, jar, crock, or earthenware vessel. The 'Pig' shape came later but the name 'Salt Pig' was never lost. The word 'salt' is inlaid orange. Presented in a designer gift box. Designed by Keith Brymer Jones.
