The Giant 1227 was originally commissioned for the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre to be part of an oversized set of his writing den - it is three times the size of the Original 1227 from 1934! Three were made: one for the museum; one was auctioned to raise money for the museum writing fund and was purchased by Tim Burton; the last was exhibited at 100% Design in London and went down so well that it was put into production. Note: Image shows true scale of the lamp! The position of the lamp is also lockable for safety
