The iconic type 500 phone was designed by the prolific industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss and introduced in the Fifties, gaining widespread popularity as a decorative household item and was the most commonly used phone in the United States. Well designed and functional, he used ear-to-mouth measurements from people to create the ergonomic handset. Despite it's iconic style, it works just as well as a modern day phone and features push button dialling, redial button, ringer volume on/off switch, tone & pulse switch and earpiece volume control. Simply plugs into a standard phone socket.
