Eva, the founder of Caramel decided she wanted to change people's minds about childrenswear. Parents can spend thousands on clothes for themselves, but their children have to wear mass-produced clothing covered in logos or expensive glitzy things, which are often impractical, anachronistic, or both - and none of this is what childhood is really about. So Eva found a modern style that was individual and luxurious, but still relaxed and understated. There are no logos, just designs that are as useful and beautiful as possible. Designing the clothes herself, Eva made sure they were functional and went beyond trends, experimenting with colours not traditionally used for kid’s clothes.
