Since 1932, Champagne Taittinger has grown to take its place among the greatest champagne houses with its innovative style, particularly influenced by Chardonnay. François Taittinger chose Chardonnay very early on as the dominant variety in the wines of his brand, sensing that the modern champagne enthusiast would increasingly appreciate the lightness, finesse and elegance of the grape. Its 288 hectre vineyard spans 34 different crus, among the best in the Champagne region, with grape varieties including 37% Chardonnay, 48% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meunier.
