Bosse Bronze Miniatures

Born in 1904 to academic painter parents, Walter Bosse was always surrounded by creativity. He studied at the Imperial Art School of the Museum of Art in Vienna and at the School of Applied Arts in Munich and his first international appearance was at the 1925 Paris Exhibition of Decorative Arts. Throughout his career he discovered a great love of bronze, and recent increases in the collectors’ market of Bosse’s work has spurned a renaissance in Vienna as well as reissues in bronze of many of Bosse’s original ceramic designs. Production is now located in a small, sleepy village near the Austrian-Hungarian border, where Walter Bosse’s legacy is carried on and upheld with the same long-standing knowledge and hand-crafted quality.
