Aux Anysetiers du Roy

Aux Anysetiers du Roy was first a restaurant located in the old Paris quarters, near Notre-Dame. Frequented by many celebrities in the 60s, such as Salvador Dali and Brigitte Bardot, each customer was offered a small gift after dinner: the ‘Herbes de Provence’ crock, containing a special blend. The success of these crocks led to the Aux Anysetiers du Roy line of speciality foods, each presented in their own stoneware pots. They are made in a small village, south of Lyon, and contain original recipes of honey, flavoured sugars or chocolate fondue. The pots, tumblers or shakers are filled by hand, making each one an original piece of craftsmanship. Stoneware retains heat much better than glassware, meaning the tumblers keep the chocolate fondue warm and melted for much longer, with no need of a fondue set.
