Flux

Inspired by the paper work of artists like Richard Sweeney, Dutch designer-duo Douwe Jacobs and Tom Schouten set about designing a foldable chair created from one flat piece of material. Moving from paper to polypropylene, and engineering a state-of-the-art injection mould along the way, the first Flux chairs were produced. The now award-winning chair design is seen in homes and showrooms around the world, and the fold-flat furniture of Flux continues to develop in flexibility, inventiveness and sustainable concepts.
