World of Moose

For many years Moose worked as an architect specialising in urban regeneration and contributed to the UK’s successful Olympic bid. In 2006 he gave up his full-time architecture career to concentrate on art. He says of his work, “Making my drawings is about losing myself in an imaginary world. I use spatters of colour as seeds or I start from the bottom and work upwards, seeing where my pen takes me.” Moose mainly works from his imagination; his work tells stories. He fills landscapes with tiny narrative incidents and a cast of curious characters. This presentation of work includes the fantastically fun ‘Fill Me In Posters’, which make entertaining gifts, perfect for keeping everybody occupied at a party.
