Zaida brings together Eastern traditional methods and Western contemporary design to produce rugs for your floor that are almost too gorgeous to walk on. Respecting their traditional values and skills, Zaida works with Kashmiri craftsmen who produce the finest quality chainstitch needlework in the world, channeling their talents into contemporary and abstract designs, many of which are influenced by the work of European artists. None of the production process takes place in a factory and no children are involved as Zaida works in a cottage industry, with craftsmen working within their own homes to produce stunning rugs and striking cushions.
