ACHICA > Emma Lawrenson
After leaving the Royal College of Art, London, where she studied printmaking, Emma Lawrenson has had numerous solo exhibitions and sold work to collectors in over 20 different countries. She also produces work for interior designers in London, California and Sydney, and has supplied work for film and television sets in the USA. Emma believes in ethical production, which is why she prints using only water based inks, and uses recycled packaging. Every piece made is part of a very small edition run, so you will always get something pretty unique. Only the finest handmade papers are used and Emma makes sure each layer is dry before adding the next colour, building up the prints little by little. This precise and methodical approach is proof of her training at what is arguably the best art school in the world, and is what makes her work so truly exceptional.
