The Carved Angel

Shortly after opening The Carved Angel Restaurant in Dartmouth, 1974, the owner discovered a recipe for Christmas pudding, created by the renowned Victorian Chef Eliza Acton, and began recreating and updating it. The result was a Christmas pudding that harmonised subtle spice, sweetness, warmth of brandy and soft textured fruit. The customers of the restaurant begged for extra special creations they could enjoy at home and duly The Carved Angel produced a wonderfully versatile range of luxury foods.
